Anyone who caught the Emmys last night probably oohed and ahhed over Modern Family’s adorable Aubrey Anderson-Emmons. In case you’re wondering where she got that awesome little purple dress, it’s none other than Tea Collection, believe it or not. And we’ve got a first-hand look at how it came together (zomg, the picture of Aubrey with her dad is killing us) and…an exclusive chance to win one of your own.
[don’t miss a chance to win your own dress after the jump!]
Knowing my own girls, I can only imagine that it’s every 5
year-old’s dream to have a silk dress custom-designed for them, and
that’s just what happened with Lily’s Emmy Dress.
And I kind of love that it came from a small local designer like Tea
that really gets how to dress kids, instead of scaling down some adult
gown. With a wrap neckline and a bubble skirt at bottom, with a
Korean-inspired Hambok sash and a tulle petticoat underneath, I find it
equal parts playful and fancy.
As for my kids, they just think it’s “really really pretty.”
Here’s a look at how it all happened:
with dresses starting to ship in November. Yes it’s expensive, but
they’re all made to order right in the US.
I imagine there’s going to
be quite a few very fancy little girls in purple this holiday season. –Liz

I just love tea collection! Well done! She looks so super cute and even better… age appropriate!
