I can’t get my son out of this stroller. This is a good thing. Trust me. My two-year-old gives the Energizer Bunny a run for his money. That is, until I introduced him to this new ride from Bugaboo.
Before the new Bugaboo Cameleon 3, this kid was not having any strollers. But a miracle happened when I received the new Bug to test drive–my little guy suddenly loved to go on stroller rides. Really.
The Bugaboo Cameleon 3 is an even greater version of the original and much-loved Cameleon stroller. First of all, hooray for the larger underseat carriage bag–it’s huge! And that was always one of the biggest complaints of early Bug models. I easily stuffed by diaper bag, toys, a couple sippy cups and some snacks down there, with extra room leftover; and the drawstring ensured my stuff didn’t fall out.
Another awesome update is the rotating carry handle, which gives you easy access to your little person. Folding is also pretty seamless. I was also amazed at how lightweight this stroller is–I could push it with one hand easily, even over Brooklyn cobblestones. You know those air tires are a godsend for those of us for whom our strollers are our cars.
And the fabrics? There are quite a few basics, but also check out special editions, like the Andy Warhol flowers fabric, shown here.
I’ve always thought an umbrella stroller was necessary for their ease-of-use, but if I were a new parent looking for one stylish, easy stroller that did it all–I would feel really good about investing in the Bugaboo Cameleon 3. I can also tell you that my son would approve. –Melissa
