What's making me happy right now? Totally randomly, I'd say really good tart lemonade, extra daylight while we still have it, an available outdoor table at my favorite local Italian place, the 80's station on Sirius/XM, the latest episode of SPAWNED, and now, The Legendary Tastemakers series of plush pillows from designer Brian Nesse.
You have to check out these adorable, and pretty accurate depictions of some of your favorite pop culture icons, from Minnesota's Loch Ness MPLS on Etsy.
There's definitely the perfect one for anyone ultra cool on any gift list you may have right now: Jon Waters for a film buff. Jackie O, Iris Apfel, Karl Lagerfeld or Anna Wintour for your own favorite style icon friend. Julia Child and Martha Stewart for a foodie friend. And then there's Jonathan Adler and Simon Doonan for your favorite hipster design-snob pals. Or, me.
Wouldn't they be the best host/hostess gift ever, if you've scored a Hamptons invite?
Unless of course you're visiting Martha Stewart out there. Then it might be a little weird.
The pillows are mostly around $25, though for some reason Coco Chanel is just $18. Maybe she took one accessory off in the morning, lowering the price.
If you have any idea what I'm talking about, then today, you make me happy too.
Find the The Legendary Tastemakers series of plush pillows from Etsy shop Loch Ness MPLS or check out the artist's website for other cool stuff he's doing.
