It’s officially that time when my kids beg to decorate our door for Halloween and here come our friends from Caravan Shoppe to the rescue! Mom and graphic artist Alma Loveland — make of the Ollieblocks we can’t get enough of — has just come out with a super affordable, giant printable Halloween coloring poster that I know will keep my kids busy for the next couple of weeks.
It’s something you can have a group of kids go to work on at a Halloween party, or just leave it out for something creative your kids can do — besides trying on their costumes every single day for the next two weeks, and using up all the face paint before Halloween actually rolls around.
(Not just my kids, right?)
You can have the printable Halloween coloring poster printed at a local copy shop, and even print out multiples to hand out to other kids — I’m sure quite a few preschool teachers would love the activity. It’s the perfect balance of cartoony and creepy, making it fun for even my tween daughter.
Alma also happens to be a former room mom, so it’s not surprising that she knows just what will keep kids’ attentions. So she’s created a spooky kids Halloween printable activity pack with 9 activities perfect for a party like a pin the spider on the web game, a “boo bag” bean bag toss, Halloween Bingo and more.
Throw in the printable Halloween masks, which are terrific for photo booth snaps. Now you are practically Halloween party ready, without battling lines at your local party store!

I’m also totally smitten with her adorable set of non-scary Halloween printables for younger kids, which includes coloring pages, posters and these friendly ghost banners that would look great on our front door.
If you happen to be throwing a party for older kids or even just for the adults, or you want something a little more sophisticated for your windows or front door, check out her new Halloween chalkboard printable poster set which has 3 cool options. I happen to love the Harry Potter quote.
But then, isn’t that kind of evergreen when it comes to kids?

A cute and simple idea – decorate white cupcake liners with ghost faces, and then place them over battery-operated votives! Instant glowing ghosts (be sure to get the battery-operated votives – I found some at the Dollar Store).
