We found 6 great pairs of kids' winter boots on sale -- like these by Sorel. But hurry, they won't last!

The good thing about living down South is that I can wait until the last minute to buy snow boots for my kids, when theyโ€™re all on sale! And when youโ€™re buying four sets of winter snow gear, those savings help a lot. That said, all of these kidsโ€™ winter boots on sale are ones weโ€™d buy even if they were full priced, because weโ€™ve tested these brands and theyโ€™ve lasted us not just through one or two brutal winters, but long enough to pass down through a few kids. So even at full price, thatโ€™s a pretty great value.

But on sale? Itโ€™s almost too good to be true.

Just hurry, because these quantities and prices wonโ€™t last long.

The Elsa Boot by KEEN is the pair my daughter has been wearing โ€” every day โ€” this winter. Theyโ€™re super warm, thanks to insulation, a faux shearling collar, and something called a โ€œheat reflecting strobelโ€ that is basically a thermal barrier for warmth. They sound like something one of the Avengers would wear, but itโ€™s named for everybodyโ€™s favorite princess (enter eye roll here). But, theyโ€™re a sweet $15 off at their site, and we found prices as low as $25 off at Amazon. (regular price: $85)

When my kidsโ€™ fingers are half frozen and weโ€™ve already negotiated a ski bib, hats, scarves and gloves, itโ€™s not in the cards for them to tie up their snow boots too. Thatโ€™s one reason why I love these waterproof slip-on Powderbug boots by Columbia. There are a few different patterns available on Amazon, with prices as low as $20 a pair. Thatโ€™s an incredible deal for a pair of boots that will last through a few kids. (regular price: $60)

For the perfect combo of warmth and style, we love the faux fur-lined Kelsey boot from KEEN. Theyโ€™re incredibly warm and durable enough to last an entire winterโ€™s worth of sledding. Actually, longer than that โ€” because weโ€™ve been passing our KEENs down from kid-to-kid in my family. And these look pretty adorable with a pair of warm leggings and a jewel toned coat this winter, just saying. (regular price: $90; on sale for $62.99 at Zappos)

Last year, we wrote about how much we loved Stride Riteโ€™s new Snoots (sneaker + boots, ha) for our toddlers. They get all the comfort and traction they need from their sneakers, with a high, insulated, waterproof cover over the ankle. They can also fold that top portion down if the weather isnโ€™t too frigid. And, right now, you can find these in many styles for sale on Amazon. (regular price: $60)

We love our own Sorels, but oof, canโ€™t quite afford that price point for our kidsโ€™ boots. But, depending on the color and size, some kidsโ€™ Sorel Yoot Pac snow boots (also shown at top) are as low as $31 (yes, really!) on Amazon right now. It may just be your lucky day. (regular price: $75)

For kids who want a more sophisticated look for the boots theyโ€™re wearing to school and around town, we love these herringbone Sperry Saltwater boots. When winter weather is at its worst, these could look really cute with tights and a dress or jeans and a sweatshirt. Love the grey-and-black color combo too. (regular price: $70; on sale for $62.99 at Zappos)

Thanks to KEEN and Stride Rite for sending us some sample boots to try out.
