Between Black Friday, Small Business Saturday, and Cyber Monday, there are a lot of dedicated shopping days in your life right now. But Shop for Good Sunday is another to add to the list — and you should add it, because today is about supporting businesses and brands that give back to the planet.
Check out all the brands you can support with your purchases today — there are so many, offering everything from sustainable sunglasses made from ocean plastic to luxury bedding and towels. Here are a few items we found to get you started.
And PS you can get them all year long. Not just today! Yeah, that’s a big hint.

Embroidered Rainbow Clutch Bag ($48, Slate + Salt)
I love the colors of this large clutch, which is beautifully embroidered by Hmong Hill Tribes of Northern Thailand. The shop, Slate + Salt, specializes in unique pieces like this one — only from all over the globe — which preserve traditional techniques and support the Fair Trade movement.
Choublanc Bunny Family ($48, Mouse in the House)
Like all of Mouse in the House’s offerings, this adorable trio of rabbits are ethically hand sewn (with organic cotton) and embroidered by a women’s integration workshop in India. And they totally look like something you’d find in a high-end boutique.
Silver Paper Beaded Clutch ($50, To the Market)
To the Market has been one of our favorite shops to support since their launch a few years back, because of all the supporting them do of the women artisans whose work they sell. (Disclosure: They’re a current holiday sponsor of ours, and we’re thrilled about it!) We love this incredible one-of-a-kind clutch handmade in Uganda to help provide artisans’ families with housing, education, food, and medical treatment — and provide someone lucky on your gift with a truly gorgeous handbag.

Text Pouches ($48, GAIA)
You can get these cute text pouches with sayings of all kinds — “besos,” “y’all,” “girl boss” — even your own. GAIA’s items are all handmade by refugee artisans, and each purchase comes with a hangtag signed by the woman who made yours.
Ketema Statement Ring ($75, Raven + Lily)
“Statement” for sure — the plumagate and chrysocolla stones in this gorgeous ring are mined in Ethiopia before getting set in recycled brass by artisan women who live in an impoverished area of Kenya. Plus, Raven + Lily is one of our longtime favorite shops.
The Hoot Owl Hat ($28, Krochet Kids)
Krochet Kids works to break the cycle of poverty by employing women to hand-craft stunning products like this kids’ owl hat, made in Uganda. You get to “meet” the woman who makes the very item you purchase, too (like the adorable stuffed fox at top), in an online profile.
Hi! Loved your posts on gifts that give back. A big part of our ethos, too! I run a company called Pulp Pantry— we are based in LA and transform organic juice pulp into healthy, delicious snacks like granola and crackers.
We’re doing beautiful, handcrafted gift boxes (with special holiday flavors and 100% recycled packaging!) for the holidays and giving a portion of proceeds to an amazing South LA-based nonprofit called The Garden School Foundation that builds community gardens and provides nutrition education for kids.
