Each year, we try to go through all the clutter and crap, and put together the best Amazon Prime Day deals for you. I mean, with all due respect to the “flash deals” on Amazon Prime Day that look like your Great Aunt Hilda just cleaned out her attic,
This year, I’m paring it down to 11 deals and that was hard enough! But be sure to follow @coolmompicks on Twitter where we’ll add more during the day including the flash deals that come and go pretty quickly.
One tip: Don’t get tempted to buy things you don’t really need or can’t afford just because they’re on sale. But hey, if there’s something you’ve needed or wanted, or if you’re stocking up on gifts while they’re on sale, then go for it! There’s something to be said for finishing your holiday shopping in June, right?

11 of the best Prime Day Deals That I Totally Want
(Unless I bought them already)
1. Sony’s Best Noise Cancelling Headphones: $100 off
I just wrote a post over on Cool Mom tech about why I waited a whole year for Prime Day to grab arguably the best noise-cancelling headphones of 2021 from Sony. Now that they’re on sale for $100 off, you can grab them too. Wow, do they keep the peace in more ways than one these days!
(I got the navy ones, in case you’re wondering. I’m trying to change it up from everything black. Just a little.)
2. Apple AirPods Pro: 24% off
We always snatch up Apple products when they go on sale, and if you’re more in the market for the AirPods Pro, yes, you can find them for $189 (regularly $249) on Prime Day. Psst… they also make a terrific splurge baby shower gift. They’re so convenient during those late-night nursing sessions.
3. Schwinn High-Timber Youth/Adult Mountain Bike: Up to 31% off
Christina recently shared a terrific new bike that’s designed to grow with your kids, but it’s definitely spendy. 6. Osmo Little Genius STEM Learning Starter Set: 45% off
We have been raving about Osmo’s toys for kids since they first came out, since they blend the best of offline, tactile learning and exploration with what’s fun about screen time for kids. The Prime Day deals on Osmo are fantastic, from the Starter Set (above) at 45% off, making it just $43.99 — provided you already have an iPad (the 2021 iPad Pro is $50 off if you’re in the market, or the 2020 iPad is $34 off ) or a Fire Tablet — also on sale for 50% off.
The Osmo coding starter kit is also a Prime Day deal at 30% off, as well as plenty of other kits.

If your kids outgrow their shoes every June like mine (sigh) — this is a great opportunity to grab a pair of the amazingly comfy, supportive, sturdy shoes from New Balance at nice discounts. That men’s New Balance trail running shoe is terrific (I own the women’s version, though it’s time for an update for me). Above: the New Balance Kids’ Fresh Foam Arishi V2 Bungee Running Shoe in 36 different colors and styles (this one $29.99, or 40% off).

If you’re stocking up on gifts, think about stocking up on baby gifts too with some really sweet deals on one of our favorite baby brands, Burts Bees Baby. The organic cotton romper set from Burts Bees Baby here is just $9 for the two-pack, and tons of other cute pjs, socks, and other essentials are up to 30% off. It’s a brand you often see in ourAnnual Guide to the Best Baby Gifts of the Year. And ooh…the wearable cotton sleep blanket is so cute, no wonder it’s a best-seller. It’s also just $17.99 right now.
One more essential for babies that we always recommend are Graco car seats, and a wide assortment of them are up to 40% off or even a little more — plus high chairs, travel systems, and the ever popular Pack n Play, now 31% off. Plus, it’s all great styles and colors, none of those leftover gingham patterns from 2007 (ha). If you’re in the market, be sure to check out the Graco Convertible Extend2Fit Convertible Car Seat (above), which is $114 down from $199.
11. The Newest Echo Dot: 50% off
Of course you can’t have Amazon Prime Day deals without all the Amazon devices going on sale — that includes the latest gen Echo Dot which is 50% off, or just $24.99. So helpful for so many reasons.
And by the way, if you don’t have one yet, lots of our Out Tech Your Kids community members recommended an Alexa device to place in a kid’s room to help them fall asleep to music, without letting them keep their phones in their all night. So smart. Leave it to parents.
