What Do You Get in the Breo Box? Summer 2024 Edition
Opening the box is always fun because everything comes nicely packaged in a sturdy box (we always reuse ours), and then inside that, is a reusable drawstring cloth bag. My kids always find something to do with that.
In past Breo Box deliveries, I’ve seen fun kitchen gadgets, innovative Bluetooth speakers and audio equipment, Instax cameras, desk gadgets, gifts for readers like clip lamps — it’s always good stuff and definitely does not feel like the dregs leftover after a tag sale.
Here’s what you get inside this current box. It really is a fantastic gift for a “gadget fan” or I would say this one in particular also happens to be terrific for college students, because these are all 100% dorm-ready.
Blendi Pro+
This cordless Blendi Pro+ Blender is one of those examples of a Breo Box treat that isn’t exactly techie, but it is a fantastic gadget. Unlike a regular single-serve blender, this converts right to a travel bottle so you can make a smoothie or juice blend, then just take it with you. My teen daughter immediately poured in one of the Poppi Sodas I bought on Prime Day, blended it with ice, and took her DIY slushee out to the park.
Luci Solar Anywhere Lights
I have never tried these before, though I’ve seen them at places like REI and…wow. They’re basically a set of 6 mini camping lights with tent stakes that come in a charging case. You can use solar power or a USB to charge, and they last about 20 hours. They’re also great for sitting in a park, hanging out in the backyard, or remove them from the stake and you can clip them onto a carabiner, attach to a keychain, dangle under a patio umbrella…the kids would find a ton of uses and they’re usually about $80! Great deal as part of a BreoBox.
Panergy Portable Fan with Tripod
If you’ve been following our site lately, you know I’m obsessed with portable fans this summer – and now I have this one! It’s super light and very compact. I’m tucking it in my bag for the next camp visiting day picnic, but it’s great for baby stroller handles, beach chairs, patio umbrellas, hot office spaces, or working on your laptop in a coffee shop that’s skimping on the A/C.
Statik GoHub 6-in-1 Portable Power Bank
You can never have too many portable power banks, or maybe that’s just me. This one from Statik is fantastic because it has micro USB and USB-C charging cables built in — though note that if you have an older iPhone, you’d need to use it like a classic portable battery with a lightning cable. BUT! It also has a foldable wall plug in the back, so you can plug it in, then use any USBC-lightning cord to charge your iPhone, laptop, AirPods or headphones…you name it. Best of all, it has an LED display to show you the exact battery power percentage left. Really smart! And usually $50 at retail.
Tooletries The Mat
This is the kind of Breo Box goodie I like because you might not think to get one yourself, but when you have it you’re glad you do. So smartly designed for travel — especially if you get a little skeeved by the cleanliness of the bathroom sink area or the nightstand. (NO TOOTHBRUSHES ON THE COUNTERTOP!) Or, just use it at home top of a vanity or wardrobe to keep your stuff organized and keep eyeliners from rolling off like mine do.
Moso Natural Air Purifying Bag 2-Pack
So I haven’t actually tried this reusuable air purifying bag yet, but it gets great reviews. It uses bamboo charcoal as a natural air purifier and evidently lasts up to 2 years. When it needs a little freshening itself, you just leave it out in the sun for an hour or so. The little hole on the top lets you hang it from a hanger in a closet, or you can just pop it in a closet, or roll it up directly into a shoe.
The Value: Is Breo Box Worth It?
Breo Box promises each box will be up to a $300 value. This one comes out to $275 if each item was purchased individually (yes, I did the math), and you get it for nearly half that if you’re a subscriber.
As a gadget geek myself, I just love it. If you’re into fun surprises each quarter, you also like truly useful gadgets, or you need a gift for a college student or someone in your life who seems to have everything, it really is a great idea.
Bonus: If you order your first subscription, you get a free $125 mystery box with your first box. Based on my own past experience with Breo Box, it will be something awesome.
