Our quizzes are for curiosity and conversation, not assessments of you or your child. No quiz can promise perfection. Here is how we use AI, editorial review and, for evidence-backed quizzes, additional source checks.

An editor chooses the topic.
Our topic-based quizzes can begin with an idea and an optional reference page. AI drafts questions, answer choices and short explanations. Reading a reference helps ground that draft; it is not independent verification. Some quizzes are drafted without an external reference.

We label AI assistance.
AI-assisted quizzes are credited to Cool Mom Picks Editors. Topic-based quizzes use editorial review, not a verified-evidence badge. We do not invent source links or quotations when no sources were used.

An editor reviews the whole quiz.
Before publication, a named editor reviews the questions, correct answers, explanations and results. Wrong answers must not introduce another valid answer. Generation and approval do not automatically publish a quiz.

Evidence-backed quizzes have extra checks.
Our separate evidence workflow, including report-derived quizzes, uses approved sources and stored supporting quotes. It checks quotes against retrieved text, checks wrong answers, and requires two independent sources for health and safety claims. Unsupported material is dropped. These checks do not describe every topic-based quiz.

Changes need a fresh review.
Edits create a new draft revision. The published version stays unchanged until an editor approves and explicitly publishes the replacement. Evidence-backed quizzes also need renewed verification when factual content changes.
What we don't make
No personality quizzes, no product matchmaking, and nothing that suggests a medical, developmental or psychological diagnosis. No sign-up or email to see a result, and no personal details collected to take a quiz.
Spot a mistake?
Every question in an answer key has a "Report a problem" link. Reports are available to editors for review. Review dates remind editors to revisit a quiz; they do not trigger automatic research or guarantee that its answers are current.
