Although I’m a straight-up English speaker (with a little French thrown in on those really bad days — ahem), I’ve always thought it would be wonderful for my daughter to learn another language. Most folks say that starting early is the best way to go but the idea of toddler language classes has always seemed just a bit…much for me.I may change my tune after having checked out the beautiful personalized French-English alphabet books from artist and twin mom, Amy Hallali at her online shop,Sweet Arts Design.
Inspired to create a book that her French-speaking husband could read to the girls at story time, Amy found 26 words that start with the same letter in both languages, then designed truly elegant images to accompany them.
Theresult is a gorgeous softcover book personalized just for your child. And of course, a brilliant bilingual speaker in the house. Tres cool. –Kristen
