I’m Pining for Some Wood

With an anti-sleep toddler, I barely have time to get a shower, let alone match jewelry to an outfit. But that doesn’t mean I’m willing to sacrifice my stylish tendencies. Itjust means that I need pieces that can multi-itask as competently as I try to.

Enter Tam Aura Designs, the studio of artist Tami Brooks, which features the most amazing collection of dress it up/dress it down wooden jewelry I’ve seen in a long time. She combines simplicity and earthy style along with affordability–her pieces are in the very modest $30-50 range. I’m in love with her sensual Gerry necklace (pictured), as well as her Nicole earrings, both of which will go with almost everything I own.
These are the perfect fall season baubles for me–with baby number two on the way, my coordination brain cells will be lacking. But at least my fashion sense will be spot on. -Kristen
