I think that most every girl dreams of being a ballerina at some point. I did, even as I was rolling in mud puddles or pummeling a soccer ball. I confess in fact that I still harbor fantasies of a steamy pas de deux with Baryshnikov.
Oh, Misha. If only. If your two to eight year-old daughter has sugarplum fairy daydreams, she’ll love these Zid Zid Moroccan ballet flats. I adore the mint color shown here, but they also come in pink and a very funky silver. They’re handmade out of leather, and finished with a sturdy sole making them more suited to outdoor prancing than barre work. The shoes are available at the trendy tot boutique, MilkShop, which is packed with every hot brand you wish your local kids shop carried. –Liz
