Holiday cookies way better than the ones you'll make. Trust me on that one.

There are definitely some folks on my holiday list who deserve better than the lopsided bells and gingerbread amputees that pass for holiday cookies around my kitchen. In other words, everyone but Grandma. The holiday cookies from Better Bit of Butter are exactly what you're looking for if you want holiday cookies that make a serious impression.

Baker/artist Christine Mehling bakes these gorgeous bits of high-calorie heaven fresh to order using organic ingredients like sweet Amish butter and cage-free eggs. Then she tops them off with fondant and royal icing designs that have that a wedding favor kind of perfection. They honestly taste as exquisite as they look, and that's saying a lot.

Order now because they're all made to order; small orders arrive beautifully packaged in about five days, large orders take longer. And if you're lucky enough to live in Cleveland you can have them delivered locally.

Yes, I just said "lucky enough to live in Cleveland." That's just how good these cookies are. -Liz
