One of our secret tips that we now share with tens of thousands of you all is that if you’re looking for great discounts, check out the Australian labels that we feature here time to time. Because their seasons are backwards (although they could say the same thing about us), their spring/summer clothes go on sale just in time for our own warm-weather shopping sprees.
One of the Aussie shops to bookmark is Baobab, helmed by designer and “mum” Belinda Blooman. She’s got a knack for making beautiful cotton play clothes from 0-6 with more flair than your average cotton basics.
First off, all the items I’ve checked out are crazy soft and stretchy – definitely practical in every way. And they hold up nicely in the wash which is always a plus in my book. I love the red raglan dress with orange contrast accents which my girls would totally live in, and the kimono hoodies in funky prints are easily the cutest I’ve ever seen. Plus there’s plenty for babies from adorable tank-style bodysuits to baby hoodie sets that make great shower gifts.
