Congrats Katie! We didnโ€™t plan as well as you have and now my two-year-old son currently sleeps in a bright pink room with his older sister.

Thankfully, itโ€™s easier than it ever has been to find gender-neutral
bedding. Youโ€™ll find a bunch of lovely (and I mean lovely) though
pricey designs at Serena & Lily in both nursery and twin sizes and many of which complement each other without being too โ€œmatchy matchy.โ€

You can also custom design your own bedding at family-owned Javis Davis. Perhaps you could pick a neutral base, and then add more gender-specific accents for each kiddo.

If youโ€™re on a tighter budget, Iโ€™ve scored some great gender-neutral options at Pottery Barn Kids, and for less, at Ikea. Ikea hasnโ€™t traditionally had textiles that are as high quality as some of their furniture, but weโ€™ve seen a lot of improvements in recent years and you sure canโ€™t beat the prices.  -Kristen
