The world of custom cards and invitations has really exploded. I've written about tons of great companies on Cool Mom Picks alone, so it's really exciting when one still makes me go "Oooh!" Mango Ink cards are beautifully designed and printed, and because you get to work with a talented designer, your cards will turn out exactly how you imagined them. Only better.
Mango Ink's new line of custom folded cards are printed on eco-friendly FSC-certified paper, and come in two styles: A classic one with an image printed then mounted on a lovely piece of heavy matte card stock with a raised border -- perfect for a more elegant look. Then there's the modern style, which is more up my alley, with a "bleed" image - or one printed edge to edge.
I love the idea of having my very own designer who will take my hi-res photos and figure out the best layout to display it, help me choose the perfect typeface, and even suggest an envelope color to complete the look.
No, the whole process not exactly DIY inexpensive, but the more you order the the better value you get. Making it great for something like thank you notes "from the baby" which you know you'll be needing a ton of. It might also be the excuse I need to throw a big party requiring lots and lots of invites. -Betsy
