Babiators Aviator Sunglasses

Summer is upon us and I am gathering my toddlerโ€™s arsenal of sun hats, sun blockโ€“and yes, I will make another desperate attempt at sunglasses. Sunglasses on a 2 year oldโ€“ I know, whatโ€™s the point? They wonโ€™t keep them on or they will be broken in 5 minutesโ€ฆ or will they?

Thanks to Babiators there might be hope yet for reliable help in protecting your little ones eyes from the suns harmful rays with their cute array of childrenโ€™s sunglasses.

The aviator design does carry a bit of a Top Gun vibe (they were designed by a fighter pilot!) and out of the box I was a bit skeptical, but they happen to look very cute on. Babiator sunglasses also claim to offer 100% protection against UVA and UVB rays. But the best part about the glasses by far is the durability factor. They are made of pliable non-toxic rubber and claim to be almost indestructible, to the point that they come with a one-year โ€œwear and tearโ€ guaranteeโ€“thatโ€™s hard to beat.

Seems like plenty of reasons to consider a minimal investment in these as opposed to another pair of character branded glasses for which youโ€™ll have for a week before they (and you) snap.

Shop the childrenโ€™s aviator sunglasses from Babiators or at your local eyeglass store.

  1. Weโ€™ve been using Julbo baby/toddler sunglasses for my son since he was 1. (He had a big head so we started in the biggest size, and they still fit him.) They are great โ€“ they fit the same way upside down and they stay on really well (even without the included head strap). Iโ€™m wondering what our next pair of sunglasses will beโ€ฆ.

  2. I love aviators, and I especially love them on my little boys. In fact, sometimes Iโ€™m guilty of matching my aviators with themโ€ฆ For fun, Iโ€™ve come up with a list of 4 types of moms who match clothes or accessories with their kids โ€“ see which one you are!
