Will the exhausted Mr. Snore ever get some shut-eye at the busy Sharemore hotel? Kids will giggle from cover to cover as they follow his adventures up each floor of the tall hotel, only to discover that one floor is too noisy! One floor is too crowded -- who wants to share a bed with a pig, anyway? One floor has been entirely taken over by hamsters! It's just so hard to find some peace and quiet. And then Mr. Snore makes his way to the thirteenth floor, and really sees what's going on in this crazy hotel.
Don't think that the title, There's a Dinosaur on the 13th Floor, gives away all the fun of this laugh-out-loud picture book from talented author and playwright Wade Bradford. He keeps preschoolers and middle-grade readers engaged every step of the way, thanks in part to the wonderfully playful, humor-packed illustrations by award-winner Kevin Hawkes.
Besides, what kids don't love dinosaurs? Or a funny guy walking around in pajamas and a bowtie? Or a dinosaur wearing...
oops, can't give it away.
While kids will love reading it any time of day, there may be no more perfect bedtime story than one reminding kids just how wonderful it feels to finally get some sleep.
