We've tested our fair share of pool toys in our neighborhood pools over the years, and here's our verdict: Funboy actually lives up to the hype. The designs are playful without feeling over-the-top, the quality is noticeably better than many inexpensive inflatables, and somehow they make every pool day feel a little more like a vacation.

Of course, lounging on a giant float is the obvious choice, but we've found some unexpected ways to use them too. The larger inflatables make surprisingly comfortable spots for reading while the kids swim nearby, they're perfect for floating movie nights with a projector, and they instantly become the centerpiece of a backyard birthday party. You can even use a few Funboy floats as fun photo props for family vacations and summer celebrations—they definitely make memories a little more Instagram-worthy.

The inflatable games are another favorite. Funboy gets kids (and adults) off their phones and into friendly competition, which is always a win. It's one of those rare purchases that keeps everyone entertained instead of being forgotten after one weekend.

There are a couple of things to keep in mind. These inflatables are generously sized, so make sure your pool has enough room for them to shine. You'll also want an electric air pump unless you enjoy an unexpected cardio workout before anyone even gets in the water. And like any quality float, storing them clean and dry at the end of the season will help them last much longer.

Would we buy Funboy again? Absolutely. Funboy turns an ordinary afternoon into something that feels a little more special—and that's exactly the kind of summer upgrade we're happy to recommend.
