I’ve been a fan of the INKnBURN running clothes ever since I discovered them at the Disneyland Tinkerbell half-marathon earlier this year. So I have to admit that I was pretty excited to see their ultra cool girls’ athletic wear, particularly the newest styles that I know my own active girls would love to get their hands on.

The INKnBURN girls’ styles are bright and playful and even a little quirky–just check out the awesome Tokyo Pop Tech shirt or the funky neon skeleton ribs shirt. These comfy fashions aren’t just cute, they’re made to handle dirt, sweat, and nonstop action. That’s what happens when you test clothes on ultra runners.

I actually think the Minnie sports skirt is adorable, but I love the versatility of the Denim sports skirt. Both can be easily worn to school every day, at sports practice, or anywhere in between. Why? They come with built-in shorts underneath.

Even better, sizes go all the way up through 13–which means your athletic tweens who turn their nose down at overly cutesy girls’ sportswear will have more fashion-forward options for busy days that take them from gym or track to somewhere a little less sweaty. And while these clothes are pricier than what you might pay for your generic sportswear, they’re also made here in the USA, with careful attention to details that I have yet to find in other brands. -Kristen
