Everywhere I go I’m seeing dogtags. And no, not just because there’s a military base in town. I’m talking about those blinged out engraved initial ones that look heavier than a bicycle lock. And while I like to keep up with the trends, this is one I’ve been keeping at arm’s length. Until now.
This amazing PeaceTag Necklace from designer Peggy Li is exquisite. I love the beautiful Japanese flowers combined with the freshwater pearl detail, and the sterling fine ball chain makes it just rough rider enough for me.
And considering the subtle beauty of the piece–let alone the statement the artist is making with it — I hope it outlasts those obnoxious blingy ones by decades .-Kristen
