It doesn’t seem that long ago that when someone mentioned The Rules, my mind leaped to “don’t accept a Friday date on a Thursday.” As opposed to, “no eating the cat litter, kids.” How quickly things change.

Your kid probably doesn’t want a Please Clean Up Your Room reminder over his bed but I could see Eat Your Vegetables in the kitchen or even Share Your Toys hung ironically in a tween or teen’s room.
