Congratulations! It’s a Pig!

I always have trouble with those baby gifts you need to get when the parents want the sex to be a surprise. Don’t they know what a burden their surprise is on their generous friends? Don’t they know it’s all about me?
The Chinese Zodiac is always a great theme to turn to for something that feels personal and specific, yet still gender-neutral. We tracked down this brand new Year of the Pig sleep gown from Dragon Tail Baby at e-shop Cute Little Clothes. It’s all soft cotton, and made perfectly newborn-like, with the zipper on the outside (hooray for no over the head maneuvers after diaper explosions) and no tags. Cute Little clothes is promoting the gown as boys wear, but I swear my newborn daughter looks darling in brown.
