If thereโ€™s anything that made me more weepy than is customary during those first few days after having my son, it was all the kind notes of congratulations sent to me. Iโ€™d like to reciprocate, except getting out the house with two kids to find the perfect baby card every time gets tough.

So my plan is to grab a set of these fantastic Good News and Baby Shoes cards from Three Wheels Design, a modern paper shop after my own heart. Mom of two Vicki Shields employs simple, elegant graphics in a pack of six different cards, any of which looks like I picked it out individually.

Vicki also does beautiful personalized stationery which makes a great last minute holiday gift for just $20. The bird is perfect for a friend or sitter, while there are great (and thankfully not cutesie) options for kids from sports fanatics to animal lovers.

But for now, Iโ€™m sticking with the perfectly elegant preprinted stuff.  For $12, I can be that cool person who makes someoneโ€™s day without having set one foot into a card shop. -Kristen

Vicki is kindly extending her Xmas order deadline to 12/17 and use code CMPNICE for free shipping.

Congrats to winner Carmen D!
