I probably sound like an old fuddy-duddy everytime I go shopping for my kids, but when I see “Chick-magnet” shirts and too-short mini skirts that look like something right off an adult rack, I can’t help but cringe a little.
Except when I saw Rileyroos, these fantastic parent-designed kid’s shoes that I’d actually wear if they came in my size. While these stylish kicks still definitely imitate barefoot walking, they’ve got a padded rubber sole, sort of like a driving shoe, that provides comfort and traction on your carpet and at the playground. And their signature curled toe actually provides your walkers with leverage between crawling and walking.
