When I first received the package of beautifully-decorated
Halloween cookies
from Fancypants Bakery, I thought they were just
too cute to eat. Five minutes later, with mouth full of shortbread, I changed my mind. And they were just as good on day nine, too.

The cookies are made with ingredients I
can find in my own kitchen, and since we know plenty of kids with nut
allergies, I was happy to learn that Fancypants Bakery is a 100%
nut-free zone. They have plenty of designs for Halloween and beyond, but in keeping with the season,  I have
fallen hard for their Witches Brew Collection shown here.

Massachusetts couple, owners Jason Housman and Maura Duggan, even take on custom
projects, like a photo of your birthday baby on a frosted cookie, or help you host a bake sale for your school or charity. If you’re local, they can also host cookie-decorating parties on site, making me very glad I live within driving distance.

Order by the 24th for Halloween delivery. I should have kept some to hand out
at Halloween to some lucky trick-or-treaters, but, alas, that idea went up in
crumbs. –Christina

Congratulations to Fancypants Bakery cookie winner, Tammy S!
