We’re lucky enough to have a great-godmother (is that what they’re called?) who has made a gorgeous quilt for each of our kids. But if you’re not as fortunate as we are, then you can always commission one from Olive Jane Designs.

Designer and mom of 4 Kara Aina creates amazing hand pieced, machine sewn quilts using a unique free-form technique that gives them a cool modern appeal. You can even convo her with your color palette and let her work her sewing magic to create a custom quilt design.

With the combination of bright 100% cotton fabrics and cotton batting, it’s nice finding heirloom quilts that don’t look like they were copied off of a Little House on the Prairie episode.  -Kristen

These beautiful baby quilts are available at Olive Jane Designs
