I realize that shopping at the outlet mall isn’t exactly a new concept, except lately, we’re finding that even small, indie brands are opening up their own online “factory stores” as an offshoot to their main boutique. So, if you’re holding a little tighter to your wallet, you might still be able to score some of the cool kids clothes you previously sent on a wish list to Grandma.

One of the factory stores to bookmark is Happy Green Bee, a purveyor of fun, bright organic clothes for babies and kids that we’ve previously featured here at Cool Mom Picks. Right now at the Happy Green Bee Factory Store you’ll find adorable organic board shorts (pictured) for $7 down from $16, and a summery baby girl’s sport suit for $16 that’s more than 60% off.

When it comes to outlet shopping, just make sure you know why items ended up there – extras, store samples, returns, or irregulars. And realize that colors, sizes, and stock can be limited, so act fast. -Kristen
