Denim Quest stroller by Maclaren My favorite new jeans have wheels on them. I’m talking about the new Maclaren Denim Quest stroller. As part of their Objects of Design series, the denim stroller is meant to be the coolest thing on wheels at the playground, but it’s definitely not all style and no substance.

Aside from its dashing good looks, there really are reasons for you stroller junkies to take a closer look.

The durable denim fabric has stitching to make it look like a real pair
of jeans, though the canopy’s weather resistant coating makes it more
protective than one. And unlike some new pairs of jeans, the fabric is
pretty soft and (according to Maclaren PR) is meant to age just like
real jeans, meaning it gets softer and more lived-in looking (in a good
way_ the more you use it.

Not a denim fan? Other strollers in the Objects of Design series include a Yellow
Submarine Buggy
, perfect for the daddy I met on the playground who
named
his daughters after members of the Beatles…true story! We’re not as
big a fan of their strollers made in partnershp with Juicy – do little
girls really need the word juicy on their gear? Or their butts?

I
do like that the Quest has four different reclining positions, which is
not easy to find on strollers of this size. But the true test of
comfort for my son? He fell sound asleep in it…something he only does
in our SUV-sized UPPAbaby Vista. With all of the envious stares I’ve
been getting from other mommies, I almost want to get a bike lock for
it. –Melissa
