    I love the idea of preserving a special place via artwork and supporting a craftsman in the process. My in-laws designed their own house and have been living in it for 30+ years. I’d love to have one made for them for whenever they downsize in the next few years, as well as one of our house when my husband and I approach that time of our lives.

    This was a tough one for me! I’m “dying” to own so many baby/toddler related things at the moment(I have one 15 month old and a baby on the way). But I had to pick this toy organizer. We are in a small apartment at the moment and our toys and kid’s books are shoved into one basket in the corner of the living room. I would love love love to have somewhere to store everything!

I love SO many of your posts, but the one about the FAMILY MANIFESTO print really stuck with me because I thought it was wonderful to set out core family values in writing and be reminded of them in such an artistic way each day.     My husband was on a fishing kick this past summer and consequently my 1.5 y.o. daughter would ask him if he was going fishing EVERYTIME he left the house. I got her this for her birthday and she AND her daddy love to play with it together. Even his fishing buddies were jealous. It’s a beautiful toy and I think it’s going to be one of those things that will last and she can pass it down to her children.

    Every Jan/Feb when it gets too cold in Chicago, husband and I think about a warm vacation spot just to keep our sanity.     ever since the original post about this bag, i was intrigued. used to sneak peeks at her site all the time, even ordered a clutch to see if i liked the materials used (i did), but still had a hard time justifying the expense of the larger bag (even though i’m sure it would be fabulous, other stuff keeps getting in the way)…and then when it was announced the design could be done w/more pockets, etc. as a diaper bag, then i *really* wanted one! just can never decided which color combo! And now there is a mini-version too…one of these days….

With carrying her carseat, and holding my four year olds hand.. i just cannot have both..
