It’s been truly an honor to be a part of the More Birthdays campaign from our amazing sponsor, the American Cancer Society. Not only is it a cause near and dear to all of our hearts, but we’re so impressed with the generous mega-stars and artists who’ve jumped on board to share their talents to bring it to life.

We’ve already described how you can send a personalized birthday video greeting from a celebrity (The Biebs! Ricky Martin!) or purchase birthday gift wrap especially created by top artists and illustrators. Now there’s another option:

Create your own celebrity birthday call and have it delivered to a friend or family member. Way cooler than a singing telegram, if you ask us.

How amazing would it be to hear Celine Dion or Charlotte Church singing beautiful birthday wishes? Or Aaron Neville crooning “happy birthday, you’re a survivor” for your favorite survivor. For something a little more upbeat, we love hearing Chicago’s a capella, hand-clapping rendition too.

You can even record your own message up front. Something like, Hey Aunt Patty – I asked my old pal Celine to sing this for you today and she was like…Oh I’d love to!

It’s all free (except for the phone call charges) but it’s not a bad move to add a donation to the American Cancer Society on behalf of your friend or relative while you’re there.
