The announcement of a new online children’s clothing boutique is not necessarily big news these days, but when the store in question stocks chic, luxurious finds from Europe, my ears perk up.
The story behind Cochonnet Boutique goes something like this. A mom from Canada becomes utterly obsessed with the je ne sais quoi
style of French children and thinks to herself ‘why can’t my kids and
other non-Frenchies have that sort of uniquely gorgeous wardrobe without
hopping on the next Air France jet?’
Cochonnet carries beloved EU brands such as Talc, TroiZenfantS and La Queue de Chat. And if those mean nothing to you, then prepare to drool. In fact, browsing the site is the closest thing I’ll get these days to a shopping spree at Galeries Lafayette and I’m enjoying the virtual trip.
