I don’t know about you, but I’m totally addicted to all the flash sale sites out there. These days you can snap up everything from design-y coffee tables to contemporary art at awesome prices. Now, one of my favorites, Rue La La, has launched a a sister (or should I say daughter) site for stylish and adventurous families, with a charity angle we love.

Little Rue
is the newest launch from one of the original flash sale leaders. I
love browsing Rue La La for deals on fancy jewels, weekends at the
Canyon Ranch spa in Arizona and Orrefors wine glasses–none of which are
particularly kid-friendly. Yet, with Little Rue, I can now head to the
site for one-stop shopping for the kids.

Every Tuesday at 8 pm
EST, a new family-friendly sale will kick off on Little Rue. Their first
sale  featured finds like kids Gucci footwear for more than half off
(ok, the average price was still $79, but hey, it’s Gucci!), Fathead
wall decals and overnight stays at local museums.

But for the month of September, shopping here it’s also fulfilling in a way that reaches beyond your own family.

In celebration of their launch, 100% of the net profits from Little Rue
boutiques will go to charities chosen by the Rue La La community
(meaning us, the shoppers). Knowing that certainly makes those Gucci
little boy boots a lot easier to explain to my husband. -Melissa

If you’re not yet a member, join Little Rue using this invite link for discounted designer children’s clothing and more. 100% of net sales will be donated to charitable causes through 9/30/11
