I came home one day to find my six year-old sketching out her dream wardrobe. (My future fashion designer!) My mother, a former clothing designer herself, turned some of them into real clothes, which I thought was one of the sweetest things ever.

So I kind of fell in love with the story behind Luna Leggings, which were inspired by the drawings of a little girl, whose parents then decided to bring them to life by collaborating with a small, family-run knitting factory.

Sienna has a thing for bright colors, fanciful designs and nature motifs, meaning she and my daughter would get along just fine. The pair I was sent to check out is soft and stretchy, very comfy and the colors are perfect to ease you into spring. The sizes run a wee bit big–the 4 (for ages 6-8) will last my petite, almost seven-year-old a good long time.

Which is good. Because she loves the idea of going to school and telling everyone that a kid made her outfit. –Liz

  1. Yay! My 4yr old LOVES tights and it is a challenge to find ones that are fun & funky (her style of dress.) I am so glad to find these! THANKS!
