Kids recently outgrow an infant seat? Ready for a booster? Just need a new car seat that doesn’t smell like…well, old car seat? (And lordy, I feel your pain.)  You’ll be happy to know that Target’s popular car seat trade-in program is back!

CMP is an rstyle affiliate

Starting right now, visit Target.com or Target stores for all the details on how to trade in your old car seat in exchange for 20% off a brand new one by September 22. It’s good on any car seat they sell, including one of our own top picks, the convertible Maxi-Cosi Magellan 5-in-1.

The best part is, your old car seat doesn’t have to be in perfect condition; they’ll take expired or damaged car seats, which is pretty awesome considering you can’t even donate a car seat if it’s been used a single time.  Target will then recycle that old seat and put it to good use, which definitely beats leaving it out on the curb.

And hey, if you don’t need a new car seat, but happen to still have an old one hanging around the garage or basement for some reason, you’re in luck too!.You can use Target’s 20% off coupon toward play yards, high chairs, baby swings, and other baby gear — and even add it to existing promotions for more savings.

So. who’s got a shower coming up?

Visit Target stores or Target.com for all the details about the Target car seat trade-in program through 9/22/18. You have to use your 20% off coupon before 10/6/18 so get on it!
