Sad to put away the florals now that we’re past Labor Day? Not so fast, friends! Floral is not just in, it’s everywhere and I put together a few favorite floral dresses that I know can get a ton of wear this fall and even into winter. Whether you’re rocking them with chunky black booties, pushing the trends with some gladiator wrap-around tie sandals, or going more demure with a nighttime kitten heel, I bet lots of shapes can wear these well.

floral dresses for fall: Topshop Cowl Back Midi Dress

Topshop Cowl Back Midi Dress ($95, Nordstrom)

I love everything about this — the cut, the shape, the 1940s-esque floral patterns, the colors. So glad those awful earthy patchworks aren’t rearing their heads this fall because this is one happy-making floral dress.

Floral dresses for fall: DVF Julian Mini Wrap Dress

DVF Julian Two Mini Wrap Dress ($428, DVF)

Wow, am I in love with this print! It’s like DVF took her classic, boardroom-ready striped wrap dress and just went crazy with a bright blue floral silk screen all over it. The silk jersey drapes beautifully and I love her wrap dresses because you can dress them up or down, for work or nights out, and literally wear them forever. I’ve got a couple going on ten years, for real.

floral dresses for fall: Topshop Floral Pajama Style Shirt

Topshop Floral Pajama Style Shirt ($68, Nordstrom)

Could you wear this with nothing underneath? If so, lucky you! As for me, I’d add add a pair of black leggings or tailored black trousers for a very wearable tunic dress. Or, just tuck it into a pair of jeans, seeing as how it really is billed as a shirt. Even if it’s a long one.

floral dresses for fall: Betsey Johnson Floral Faux Wrap Dress

Betsey Johnson Floral Faux Wrap Dress

Oh, hey, super flattering faux wrap dress. I bet you could get so much use out of this floral dress from Betsey Johnson, and that forgiving silhouette will look fantastic on all kinds of figures. Hey, if you’ve got that cleavage, mamas, work it! Just note that while the dress looks brown in the photo, it’s described as black. Which is even better.
