Hot trend alert: Adidas Stan Smiths are back, and it's 1972 all over again!

I've been spotting the iconic Adidas Stan Smith sneakers all over the feet of NYC's young and fashionable -- and okay, not-so-young but still pretty fashionable -- and I am loving it! I'm not much of a high heel gal, and it's so great that comfy sneakers (that aren't painfully expensive) are in style again, just in time for updating our spring and summer wardrobes. They even offer adorable baby and toddler-sized Stan Smith sneakers made more practical with Velcro closures. Find them in baby sizes, or up to 10M for little kids. If you require other sizes, you can also find them on the Adidas website for the same price -- but without those delicious Nordstrom points and fast shipping we all love. Just note that they tend to run a half-size or so big, so consider ordering down.

Evidently there have been between 30 and 40 million of these sold going back nearly 5 decades. Unlike some of last year's spring fashion trends, think I can safely say this is one purchase you won't be regretting in a year or two.
