The weather is gorgeous outside here, which means my kids are respectively jumping in puddles, cutting the grass, and going for hikes on muddy trails โ all in the shoes theyโve been wearing all winter. Which means: itโs time for some new shoes while we retire last seasonsโs shoes to the โwear outside when youโre going to get messyโ pile.
When I shop at Converse, I know itโs one place all my kids will be happy, from my elementary school child to my college kid. For the older kids, weโre going classic All Star Canvas High Tops. Iโm kinda obsessed with the Mineral Brew Grey color for spring.
For my high schooler, these customized Run Star Trainers (also at top) are so funโyou get to personally choose every color or pattern on the shoe. And hey, if your kiddo likes to switch to sneakers for their after-prom parties, these are a perfect way to match to their dress. How fun!
For your littlest kids, Converse has a whole range of easy-on shoes that donโt require tying laces quite yet. I love this classic black-and-white combo, but this style also comes in a lovely lilac for spring.
One final mom pro-tip for you here: my youngest loved the classic low-top Converse style but isnโt able to tie laces yet, so we ordered a pair of elastic no-tie shoe laces to use in her shoes and they slip on like a dream!
