It’s kind of amazing how far daycare has come. Whether you’re reclaiming date night or just need a few minutes to work (or read) in peace, specialized work/play centers are popping up all over the country to supervise your kids when you can’t. Some places focus on exercise and excitement, while others focus on education and parental comfort. Bonus: most of them include coffee. Here are a few we’ve found that look like a lot of fun for the kids… and you.

Do you use a work/play space in your area that’s really special? We’d love to hear about it!
I worked in a daycare center for a few years after college (many years ago). But, wow, a zip line! That’s awesome! Daycares have diffently progressed since I worked in them. 🙂
I really wish these places were around when I was a toddler!
The Clubhouse Funzone is the absolute best!!!! Clean, well thought out and my sanity zone. My son loves going there!

Does anyone know how to find places like this in other areas? What do you even google? I tried work/play center but pulled up nothing too relevant beyond one in Eugene, OR. There HAS to be SOMETHING in the NY metro area but I don’t even know where to begin looking.
