I’m throwing everything into a Mandalorian watch party when season two launches on October 30th (whoo!). because to 2020, we haven’t had many reasons to celebrate. Of course, I’m using the word “party” loosely here — I’ll be streaming the show with my immediate family members In our own home, and perhaps adding a few far-away guests via Disney GroupWatch.
If you plan on screening outdoors, check out out our recommendations for affordable projectors for your backyard, and if it’s in your budget, grab a heat lamp (if you can still find one in stock) to keep everyone comfy outdoors.
Here’s how to make the show’s launch fun and festive, with food, activities, and even clothes to welcome back our two heroes. This is the way.

Activities, games and crafts for a Mandalorian watch party
Who says a Mandalorian watch party starts and ends with the actual screening? These activity ideas make it so much more party-like.
Print these Mandalorian prediction bingo cards
If you and your family have been speculating about season two since last year, I think you’ll enjoy playing Mandalorian prediction bingo thanks to this printable bingo card from u/themolecoid on Reddit. Reward the person who gets the most predictions right with beskar steel — A.K.A. a chocolate bar. You already have those around for Halloween, right?
Host a Mando and Baby Yoda pumpkin carving contest
While you technically shouldn’t try this while watching the show (because, knives!), I think it would be a perfect pre-game activity. If you have kids who are too young to wield a kitchen knife, try drawing on the Mandalorian or Baby Yoda with these stencils with a Sharpie. (2021 update: the previous Etsy shop no longer exists; links to Star Wars stencils have been updated to the WTFDL shop)

Play a “This is the way” drinking game
For the adults only, you know what to do! Make yourself a festive, Mandalorian-themed drink, like this hilarious Baby Yoda margarita from Simply Darrling, and take a sip every time Mando says his signature line. Because this is the way to get through 2020.
Decorations for a Mandalorian watch party
Mandalorian balloons and party supplies
You can actually find an entire category of Mandalorian party supplies at Party City, or probably, your favorite local costume shop. Start with these cute Mandalorian “The Child” Balloons, but check out the tablecloths, plates, cups…you name it.
Free printable Mandalorian coloring pages
Bonus: The completed pages from this Mandaloriana Coloring Book can double as both party activity and party decor when you’re done. Plus, they give the kids something to do while you wait for party time — besides eating all the snacks.
Or, save some dough and print these wonderful free Baby Yoda Coloring Pages for your Mandalorian party, courtesy of Martin Gee for Vulture.
Printable Star Wars periodic table of characters
Sorry, family, I’m not hustling to decorate for a party with no guests. But I will say this awesome Star Wars periodic table of characters from Super Hero Prints has almost convinced me, since it’s so clever and easy to download and print instantly. If you’re the kind of person who puts up seasonal prints, I think this would be a great addition for Mandalorian Season.
“This is the Way” printable for your entrance way
I also love this This is the Way print from GOST 2020 Etsy shop, which you could hang outside your living room to welcome your “guests.” I think a framed print of this could double a cool Christmas present for an extra fervent Star Wars fan in your life.
Mandalorian Watch Party Treats
This Wookiepeedia page on Mandalorian food has lots of ideas you can borrow and adapt, from Gi dumpling soup, to Haarshun bread, to Spiced Caf. Just make labels for your versions and set them on a table. Or, try some of these…
The Child frog legs treats
You’ve got to re-enact the frog-legs-sticking-out-of-baby-Yoda’s-mouth scene before the night is over! Since this became such an iconic moment in internet memedom, I think serving frog legs will generate a few laughs, even if you have to suspend table manners temporarily. Unless your kids are much more adventurous eaters than mine are, try Haribo gummy frogs or these rainforest gummy frogs instead of real frog legs.
Mandalorian Stew
According to Star Wars lore, the name for the traditional stew served by Mandalorians translates to “eat at your own risk.” And while I’m hoping this Spicy Vegetable Stew from The Modern Proper isn’t quite that spicy, it still looks like it packs a ton of flavor. Serve this as a main dish to balance out all the treats.
Hot chocolate
I never said this was going to be a balanced meal sugar-wise, all right? I just think that getting our hygge on with a warm beverage and cozy robe a la Baby Yoda episode four is what we all need to restore some order to a galaxy very close to home. So snuggle up with a hot mug of cocoa, tea, or — hell, coffee, if you’re as sleep deprived as I am! — and this sweet Baby Yoda mug from Doodle Gift shop.
Mando + Baby Yoda Cookies
We love supporting amazing Etsy artists, and since these Mandalorian cookies from Nicolettsy are way beyond my skill level, I think they just might be worth the price. Just note that they do take 2-3 weeks to dispatch so you might have to save these for one of the later episodes.

Costume ideas for your Mandalorian watch party
A Mando mask
We’re all for costumes that incorporate face masks and it’s easy to hide yours discretely with these Mandalorian masks from Toy and Fashion Etsy shop.
A cool Mandalorian tee
While you may not have in-person guests at your Mandalorian watch party, I think posting a selfie with a cool on-theme tee like this This is the Way Mandaalorian tee from Den of Six will help set the mood.
A Baby Yoda face mask
We shared some adorable Baby Yoda masks earlier this fall, but they’ve already sold out! (We have great taste; what can we say?) So I was happy to find this slightly snarky Too Close You Are mask from Hijita Mia. You can wear it even when the premiere is over. And in fact, you should!
