Set out a tray of BB-8 inspired DIY play dough and watch the kids create their own little droids. All the instructions are at Left Brain Craft Brain. You can even choose more colors and add-ons and ask the kids to make up their own droid-like characters.

 

Another great tabletop activity we’re crazy for are these The Force Awakens coloring pages that we found  Etsy’s DJ Penscript recently. Print out a bunch and leave the stack on a table with some markers or colored pencils to keep kids busy as they arrive, or before the cake is serviced. You can tuck a few sheets into the goodie bags too.

 

Gather all the kids together to play a game of The Force Awakens Bingo, maybe sneaking an extra treat to the kids who can name all the characters on this printable bingo game from Bdaystuff4U’s Etsy shop. Love the personalization available at the top of each card which makes the game feel even more special.

 

In our previous Star Wars party post, we featured homemade lightsabers made from pool noodles and plumbing insulation — still a bit hit. Put out the supplies and you can even let the kids design their own lightsaber as a fun party craft. They’ll burn off plenty of energy by safely battling until it’s time for cake.
