Confession: I don’t love my stomach. And while I really want to feel super confident sporting a bikini, I just never have been able to get there. That was until I discovered the fringe trend, which is a very cool way to still wear a bikini but keep my not-so favorite, post-4-kids part under wraps.
If you’re like me and don’t necessarily want a tankini or one-piece bathing suit, but still want to camouflage your stomach a bit, then check out these five fun fringe bikinis that will do just that.

1. Luli Fama underwire fringe bikini top
I’m a huge fan of Luli Fama. In fact, these were the first bikini tops I tried when I discovered this trend. I don’t own this style in particular, but I do own a couple of others, both of which are made extremely well and definitely give you support in the boobage area (though keep in mind, not all of the styles do). The fringe hits right at my belly button, covering exactly the spots I don’t really love. Pricey, yes. But if you’re wearing it all summer long (and lots of summers to come), this might be a great investment for you. ($99, Zappos)

2. ale by Alessandra high neck halter top
I’m digging every single thing about this sexy ale by Alessandra bikini, especially the color, whether you pick this burgundy or the lavender. So pretty! If you’re looking for more coverage up top while still covering your belly, all without feeling like you’re wearing a tankini, this is it. Plus, I like that it’s got a thick tie around the middle, which can cinch things in, too. ($120, Everything But Water)
3. Kachini Marianne fringe bikini top
This top definitely has a hippy vibe, and I love it, especially the fact that it’s got a string bikini look in the back for those of you who like that. While it does have removable cups, I don’t think this is necessarily great for you buxom ladies, but the straps are adjustable so that helps with proper support. I definitely agree that pairing this simple black top with a fun bottom is the perfect combination. ($59.20, on sale, Lord & Taylor)

I personally am not a fan of the bandeau style, but I know lots of ladies who are, which is why I wanted to include this bright, fun fringe bandeau. This solid pink color makes it pretty versatile in terms of pairing it with bottoms that you love. There are only a couple left, but definitely take a peek around 6pm.com. There are various styles available in different sizes, all at pretty affordable prices. ($25.99, 6pm.com)
For under $25, this fringe top (also shown at top) at Target is stylish and simple, with a very flattering halter top tie around the neck and a long fringe. If you’re not a super fan of your lower belly, this might be something for you to consider without necessarily having to resort to a one-piece. Also, for those of you who aren’t fans of tropical colors and patterns, but want a black alternative, the espresso is fabulous. ($24.99, Target)
Looking for fun, modest two-piece swimsuits for girls? We’ve got those, too. Lots of them, in fact.
