PenguinI have a tough time with the word "fat," mainly because since having a child, it’s how I feel on most days. And quite frankly, I prefer it be used to refer to babies, the singing lady, and these new handmade stuffed animals I found by Jen at The Sweetest Pea. Her "Fat Creations" are cute enough to make me forget about my own fat rolls.
Jen designs and sews every animal by hand using everything from faux suede to silk. These one-of-a-kind creatures can be made withPinkmonkey baby safe features (like embroidered eyes) and her list of animals is endless – flamingoes, moose, or pandas, anyone?
They are soft, smushy, and unbearably adorable, and even better, one third of the proceeds from your purchase of any pink animal (not just pigs, people) will benefit Breast Cancer Research. Now that is fat (or maybe it’s phat?). ~ Kristen

  1. Ohhhhhhhh! I love these. Very fun and great cause with the sale of the pink ones.

  2. i just bought a fat cow, and i LOVE it! Very high quality materials. I’m going back for a pink animal of some sort soon!

  3. My daughter, age 7, has two Sweetest Pea penguins. They are her FAVORITE stuffies, no question, even after months of ownership. She understands that they are handmade, not the typical corporate product, and that they come from the heart and hand of a real young woman. These toys are fabulous!
