There’s More to These Monsters Than Meets the Eye

The deliciously cute monster tees at Dishy Duds are better defined as wearable art–each is made by hand with incredible detailing, and no two are alike. It’s a good enough reason to run out and buy a dozen right now.

The deliciously cute monster tees at Dishy Duds are better defined as wearable art–each is made by hand with incredible detailing, and no two are alike. It’s a good enough reason to run out and buy a dozen right now.
But if you need one more reason, it’s that Portland mom and Dishy Duds designer Jennifer McMullen is wildly committed to using her profits to help those in need.
Jennifer has started her own Darfur awareness campaign via her website to petition for stronger US and UN political intervention to put a stop to the tragic crisis in the Sudan. Furthermore, she puts her money where her mouth is, donating 10% of her monthly sales to the Mercy Corps’ Crisis in Darfur fund.
There’s nothing wrong with forking over a buck for a squished, melted cupcake at your local school’s bake sale to contribute to charity. But we say, spend a little more and end up with a cool-looking kid to boot. -Liz
