One of my favorite pastimes as a child was building mini kingdoms with my brothers’ wooden blocks. There was something entirely gratifying about building big towers and castles – and then knocking them all down with one fell swoop.
I’ve tried introducing my girls to the joys of demolition, but pastic blocks just doesn’t provide the same effect and for some reason, wood is hard to come by these days. That’s why I was thrilled to find the Groovy Blocks at Sparkability. Not only are they made of my preferred block material, they’re brightly painted and embellished with embossed numbers, letters, and cool geometric patterns for maximum sensory enjoyment.
Oh, and they supposedly have educational value too, like teaching kids about math and shapes and the alphabet. Whatver. I’ll stick with stacking ’em up and tearing ’em down. –Nancy
