Now that baseball season is in full swing (haha) we’ve had our eye out for appropriate kids duds that transcend the same old same old. Not that there’s anything wrong with an authentic Derek Jeter jersey (Bosox fans, hold your tongues) but we like it when our kids can stand out a bit in the crowd of 15,000 at the stadium.I’m totally in love with the the Safe Hit Raglan from the doubly mom-run company Jack & Jill. While it looks like a collector’s baseball card, the graphic is actually a brightly colored vintage ad for a Texas vegetable company.
If baseball isn’t your cup o’ tea, like say, you hate America, Jack and Jill also makes other high quality onesies and tees (to 6T) out of retro postcards, ads, and children books. (Check out the ye olde time-y dessert menu.) A nice selection is available at My Retro Baby, and the onesies come with a coordinating pair of karate pants, both beautifully packaged in a keepsake tin bucket.
You know, for the Gatorade. –Liz
