I’ve got enough in my diaper bag without having to worry about the hundred products I might want to add come spring–Calamine, lip balm, Neosporin, blah blah blah. But after trying a sample of Bye Bye Boo Boo from Zen Momma, I think I’ve just pared down my kit by about 16 pounds.
The description of this herbal salve on the website says it has "a strong medicinal aroma," which honestly? Not too appealing. After trying it however, I beg to differ; it’s got that natural aromatherapy sort of smell, like tea tree meets essential oils and lavender. If that’s "medicinal" then sign me up.
I love the gentle all-natural ingredients, the fact that it’s not tested on animals and Jessica Wolfe, the cool mom behind the small company. Also it won an iParenting Media award. But most importantly, the stuff works. Apply it on bug bites and small cuts, diaper rash and dry skin patches. I used it as lip balm in a pinch and it did the trick.At just $12.50 for a whole tube o’ Bye Bye Boo Boo, you can say buh-bye to the other junk in your diaper bag right along with those boo boos. –Liz
