Send The Kids Packing

I spent longer than I’d like to admit searching for a good overnight bag to send with the kid (now kids) to Grandma’s this summer. During that time I made use of old messenger bags, duffels that still smelled like Daddy’s gym clothes and even CVS bags. Shameful, I know.
But now I’ve found the satchel of my dreams and I’m surprised to tell you it’s from Kipling. You know, the Belgian company that made those popular nylon bags like a zillion years ago with the monkey key chains hanging off them? Well they’re making a comeback with styles like the fabulous new Cara Tote shown here. There’s also a cute kids’ backpack that’s worth a mention.
The fabrics have kept up with the times nicely with patterns like the spectacular red fireworks (shown here; available only in stores) and a leopard print coming out soon. Even the monkeys have evolved from fat and fuzzy to sleek and svelte.
