If you’ve got something a little more special in mind, the mobiles from klt:works are a joy. They’re entirely handmade by incredibly talented MFA Kristin Loffer Theiss using the creatures from her Flights of Fancy plush collection, and the details are just amazing.
There’s also a black and white option for newborns. Or postmodernists. And if you’ve got something specific in mind, Kristin will work with you on a custom order.
But eh…whatever. Maybe I’m overthinking my mobile theory. It’s only the single thing your kid will (hopefully) fall asleep looking at every single night for the first several years of his life. No biggie. –Liz
