My husband and I go back and forth about my penchant for sleek, modern design versus his love for the old-fashioned basics. But what we don’t argue about is our desire for safe, environmentally conscious furniture for our children.
I just may be able to tip him towards my camp a bit with Q Collection’s new junior line. The clean design appeals even to traditionalists like my husband, and the sturdy construction starts with locally grown wood from responsibly managed forests – with no extra goodies like formaldehyde or polyurethane.
This stuff is definitely an investment; this is no Swedish particle-board furniture. But considering you’ve got far better reasons to justify a Q Collection Junior purchase than just “ooh…pretty” I’d say give it a good, hard look. -Kristen
